to protect kitchens from fire hazards by installing, maintaining, and inspecting fire suppression systems.

Core Responsibilities

Install new kitchen fire suppression systems and fire extinguishers according to manufacturer specifications, local safety regulations, and NFPA codes.

Conduct inspections of fire extinguishers per NFPA 10 and kitchen systems per NFPA 17‑17A and UL 300.

Maintain and repair pre‑engineered restaurant fire suppression systems manufactured by ANSUL, Pyro Chem, RangeGuard, Kidde, Piranha, and other brands.

Diagnose and perform on‑site emergency troubleshooting of fire suppression systems.

Prepare accurate inspection reports, obtain customer signatures, and maintain comprehensive documentation.

Communicate effectively with clients to schedule appointments, provide updates, and address concerns.

Apply NFPA codes, manufacturer specifications, and local fire codes; adhere to safety protocols and company policies.

Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry standards and technologies.

Minimum Qualifications

Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and professional attitude.

Basic understanding of fire suppression systems and fire extinguishers is a plus.

Ability to use hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and basic repair tools.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Pass pre‑employment background checks and drug screenings, with ongoing compliance.

Physical labor ability (lifting/moving equipment over 50 lbs, climbing ladders, working in confined spaces).

Willingness to work flexible hours and be on‑call as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Certification or coursework in fire suppression systems or fire protection.

Experience with kitchen fire suppression systems and fire extinguishers.

Familiarity with NFPA 10, NFPA 17‑17A, UL 300, and local fire codes.

Experience with brands such as ANSUL, Pyro Chem, RangeGuard, Kidde, and Piranha.

Multilingual communication skills.
