Technical & Warranty Support Representative 1

Responsibilities Provide mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and installation assistance, warranty support, and general customer service via phone, email, and chat software in accordance with Fluidra warranty and service guidelines. Complete Tier 1 product training and support pool owner customers with technical inquiries. Document all customer interactions and process orders for replacement parts as necessary. Additionally, you will:
Offer support to pool owner customers regarding troubleshooting, installation, warranty processes, and other Fluidra programs.
Evaluate each non‑warranty related accommodation thoroughly, send accommodations to customers when necessary, and track the discretionary non‑warranty bucket to ensure allowance is not exceeded.
Review and authorize independent service companies’ warranty work.
Attend technical training classes to stay current with troubleshooting practices.
Collaborate with team members to achieve department goals and tasks.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and multitask.
Good at following direction and using common sense and judgment to determine warranty claim validity.
At least 6 months of hands‑on mechanical or electrical troubleshooting and/or repair experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with 2 years of customer service experience.
Typing speed of 50 WPM.
Technical aptitude with an electrical or mechanical background.
Preferred
Experience with Oracle EBS.
Pool and spa industry experience.
Call center experience.
Proficiency with MS Office tools.
Education High school diploma or equivalent.
