EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants is seeking a
Commercial Account Manager
to drive client relationships and renewal processes across our fast‑growing network.
Location:
Any EPIC office – on‑site 1 day a week required.
What You’ll Do
Process applications, policies, endorsements, binders, certificates, audits and other servicing items during non‑renewal periods.
Assist clients in policy coverage, exclusions and coverage changes and support Producers in client servicing.
Manage client accounts, conduct research/analysis, handle coverage and contractual questions, and make routine policy adjustments.
Lead renewal activities: exposure analysis, market comparison, quote evaluation, premium and commission negotiations, proposal preparation, and binder accuracy.
Support Producers/Account Executives with presentations, proposals and client meetings.
Maintain client files, billing, and standard office/administrative support.
Establish and maintain trust with clients through frequent communication and issue resolution.
Ensure timely, accurate invoicing and monthly expirations.
Meet quality and timeliness standards in the Agency Management System and document all activity.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Marketing
Collaborate with Sales to determine coverage, pricing, and marketing strategy.
Submit applications, follow up for quotes, and ensure timely receipt of policies.
Negotiate premiums and commissions with underwriters and wholesalers.
Prepare proposals and provide technical support in the sales process.
Refer clients to EPIC’s Employee Benefits and Private Client Departments.
Execute other marketing responsibilities as assigned.
Manage workflow, maintain effective client relationships, and stay informed on industry developments.
What You’ll Bring
High school diploma or G.E.D. required; college degree preferred.
2+ years’ experience in a mid‑size brokerage or carrier.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and database applications.
Fast‑paced, multi‑tasking ability with strong attention to detail and time management.
High level of interpersonal skills to handle confidential situations.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
California Fire and Casualty Broker License
Valid Driver License
