Senior Technical Sales Service Specialist Eaton’s FFD Fluid Filtration Division is currently seeking a Senior Technical Sales Service Specialist. This is a full‑time role working Monday‑Friday daylight hours. The position can be hybrid‑remote (two days a week from home) and can be located at either our Chanhassen, MN or Tinton Falls, NJ location.

Eaton leads the liquid filtration industry, helping customers create clean and pure products for pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, industrial and municipal water, petrochemicals, marine, automotive, agriculture and construction equipment, and power generation.

The expected annual salary range is $83,250 – $122,100. The role is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Salaries are based on experience, qualifications and market considerations.

What You’ll Do The Senior Technical Sales Service Specialist serves as a key product knowledge expert for sales, customer service, and project coordination. They employ knowledge of filtration products to educate partners, review incoming requests for proposal, and develop accurate and competitive techno‑commercial proposals with the sales team and channel partners.

Job Responsibilities

Serve as a primary technical resource supporting the North America and global sales team, distributors, and product end users with accurate product and application knowledge.

Develop and produce professional techno‑commercial proposal packages for complex and custom filtration product lines in addition to standard and configurable products.

Evaluate commercial and technical requirements of requests for proposal, advising customers of conflicts and recommending changes.

Review incoming project orders and transmit them to the engineering and project coordination teams.

Conduct in‑house and field training on filter sizing, pricing, application, and function to help develop market channels’ filter system knowledge.

Maintain current market knowledge and other job skills through participation in field study, internal and external educational opportunities, and industry affiliations.

Provide feedback to the engineering and sales teams to support new product and market development.

Assist the marketing and pricing teams in developing and maintaining product literature and price guides.

Analyze data and prepare quarterly reports on product line sales performance.

Lead periodic ad‑hoc projects in support of sales, marketing, and operations goals.

Facilitate and participate in intradepartmental learning and cross‑training to broaden product knowledge for yourself and other team members.

Support the customer service team by responding to customer phone calls and emails as needed.

Qualifications Basic (Required)

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and four (4)+ years of experience in industrial technical sales, manufacturing operations, or engineering, OR high school diploma and seven (7)+ years of experience in the same areas.

Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.

No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Candidates must reside within a 50‑mile radius of Chanhassen, MN or Tinton Falls, NJ (Active‑Duty Military Service members are exempt).

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or physical science from an accredited institution.

One or more years of experience with liquid filtration applications.

Experience using Salesforce or another CRM system.

Experience working on an industrial manufacturing ERP platform.
