Job Summary As a Designated Coordinator, you will oversee the program management for homes supporting individuals with disabilities. In this role, you will assure each individual receives guidance, encouragement, support, comfort, security, and safety through relationship building. You will advocate that each individual's health and wellness needs are met and that they are accomplishing their outcomes, hopes, and dreams by promoting independence in performing essential life skills. You will monitor and assure the administration of medication and medical treatments as prescribed by physicians, maintain each individual's plan and financial records per regulation and program policies and procedures, and supervise, support, train, and evaluate Direct Support Professionals. Additional responsibilities include accounts payable, payroll records, petty cash/individual accounts, budget monitoring, developing positive working relationships with counties, families, stakeholders, and community organizations, maintaining documentation, performing record keeping, and participating in periodic meetings/trainings. Although the hours are primarily Monday‑Friday, you will be available as needed for emergencies and to meet the program's needs.

Qualifications and Requirements

A bachelor's degree in Human Services and one year of full‑time direct care experience with persons with disabilities or aged 65 and older; OR

An associate's degree in Human Services and two years of full‑time direct care experience with persons with disabilities or aged 65 and older; OR

A diploma in Human Services from an accredited postsecondary institution and three years of full‑time direct care experience with persons with disabilities or aged 65 and older; OR

A minimum of 50 hours of education and training to Human Services and disabilities and four years of full‑time direct care experience under supervision of a qualified staff member; OR

When managing an ICF/MR program, a bachelor's degree with QDDP designation is required;

Driver's license required;

CPR certificate, First Aid (when required), and medication administration training required (can be obtained after hire);

Training in supervisory skills, team building, and leadership;

Bureau of Criminal Affairs (BCA) clearance required;

Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with a satisfactory driving record required;

Eligibility for a hiring bonus requires meeting all of the following: 40% FTE or greater, remain up to date on all trainings, maintain employment in good standing, and work all scheduled shifts.
