Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr
Are you a highly organized critical thinker who is enthusiastic about strategic fundraising from institutions like philanthropic foundations, government grant programs, and government contracts? Greenbelt Alliance is hiring for an Institutional Giving Manager who will be instrumental in ensuring effective management of institutional grants and contracts from our growing body of government and philanthropic grants, as well as fee‑for‑service contracts. We are looking for someone who is extremely attentive to details and can organize multiple complex project components and is excited to collaborate with colleagues, grant officers, and consultants to ensure Greenbelt Alliance’s institutional fundraising operations are accurate and effective. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on sometimes fast‑paced proposal scoping and grant writing, facilitating internal meetings and decision‑making on grant proposals, and managing grant progress reporting.

Key Activities Will Include
Oversee all awarded grants and contracts administration, shepherding grant management processes ranging from budget modifications, scope realignments, partner/consultant contracting/sub‑agreements to invoicing and financial/progress reporting, working closely with the Finance & Grants Manager and Deputy Director.
Oversee all awarded philanthropic grants and the cycle of foundation grant renewals, including leading the progress reporting and stewarding relationships with grant officers
Research and maintain pipeline of potential new funding opportunities, lead internal pipeline meetings to evaluate strategic alignment with the organization’s strategic plan
Lead coordinating potential new funding proposals, including proposal writing and team member coordination, and submitting final proposal packages
Manage institutional fundraising revenue budget, tracking all grant and contract revenue, working closely with the Finance & Grants Manager and Deputy Director

Salary Range: USD $90,000-95,000 per year
Job Location: Hybrid-based in Oakland, California: 2 days in office required

Experience in nonprofit grants management, grantwriting, and/or other fundraising and/or administrative experience.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness
Ability to strategize creatively, think critically, and proactively address issues
Proponent of continuous process improvement.
Exceptional communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills, responsibility, and commitment to maintaining transparency
Self‑starter with a strong work ethic, comfortable with both collaborative and independent work
Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities and deal effectively with ambiguity
Familiarity and experience using any of the following software is a plus: Google Suite, Asana, Slack, Salesforce, Zoom, QuickBooks, Classy, and TimeCamp
