This is a long‑term contract opportunity with a well‑known Financial Services Company. The position is hybrid, with work locations in Iselin, NJ; Charlotte, NC; and New York, NY.
Contract Duration 24 months.
Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of experience designing and implementing LAN/WAN/Datacenter solutions for large enterprise environments.
3+ years of experience with IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, Static), specializing in DDoS mitigation strategies and ACL configuration for large enterprises.
3+ years of Network Engineering experience, or equivalent through work, military, or education.
3+ years experience configuring routing and switching on latest platforms such as Cisco Nexus and/or Arista.
Desired Skills & Experience
CCNA, CCNP/DP or CCIE Certification preferred (Datacenter).
Arista AI and/or Arista Automation experience.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent networking experience.
Experience creating and updating technical design documentation.
Experience in Product/Agile environments using Atlassian Jira.
Familiarity with Change Control processes (ServiceNow).
Excellent documentation and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal, influencing, and relationship building skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Visio Professional.
Experience with regulatory and auditor collaboration.
Preferred experience with scripting (YAML/Python/Ansible/GitHub).
Ability to make quick decisions in a high‑volume hosting environment.
Strong problem‑solving and analysis skills.
Ability to coordinate, document, and drive flawless execution.
What You Will Be Doing
Coordinate, install, support, and maintain network infrastructure, focusing on enterprise networks and Data Center operations.
Provide technical support to end users, troubleshooting network and system applications.
Integrate, consolidate, and maintain network services across routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices.
Design, implement, and validate solutions according to architectural standards and best practices.
Execute Internet designs and migrations during approved change windows.
