What You Will Do

Lead the development and implementation of a data migration strategy as it relates to a statewide modernization initiative.

Oversee a diverse team of practitioners to execute the data migration strategy -- from data assessment; ETL/data cleansing and transformation; data conversion; data migration; and QA/testing.

Identify opportunities to leverage cutting edge automation/AI enabled capabilities to streamline and support data migration activities.

Provide hands‑on support across the data migration -- e.g., this is not a singularly strategy focused role. You will be expected to build the strategy, as well as hands‑on support future data integrations.

Serve in a collaborative environment where Data Migration is one key workstream, working alongside multiple other workstreams such as OCM; BI and Artificial Intelligence; Platforms; etc.

What You Will Need

Bachelor's degree is required

Minimum TEN (10) years of hands‑on experience developing AND implementing data migration strategies/initiatives with a track record of successful project delivery and team leadership.

Minimum TEN (10) years of hands‑on experience across the data migration lifecycle --- assessment; ETL/cleansing; data conversion; data migration; and quality assurance

Consulting experience in State Government or Federal Government.

Must have hands‑on (recent) experience with technologies such as SQL Server, Python, and R.Must have significant experience adapting to a variety of systems and technology platforms across an enterprise.

Excellent communication skills with proven expertise leading teams across all size ranges (e.g., teams of two, teams of 30).

Must be available to travel up between 20-25%

What Would Be Nice To Have

Master's degree

Demonstrated experience supporting the business development lifecycle (capture through proposal submission).

Demonstrated experience embedding AI into the data migration lifecycle to gain efficiencies.
