Interprets written communication (English to Spanish and vice versa) for corporate needs maintaining the original meaning, format and tone. Incumbent must have a keen eye for detail and be fluent in English and Spanish. Provides ready‑to‑use translated content that meets internal and external needs and helps achieve successful communication needs for our business.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Translating
Read through in one language, ascertain understanding of the meaning and context of that material, and convert it into a second language.
Ensure translated texts convey original meaning and tone.
Cross‑reference specialized dictionaries and translation tools to check quality of translation.
Edit content with an eye toward maintaining its original format (e.g. font and structure).
Translate a variety of internal and external documents including corporate communications, course verifications, company changes, newsletters, legal notices, manuals, and policies.
Communications Coordination
Collaborate with internal departments on initiative needs, timeline, expectations, and deliverables.
Attend document reviews with key stakeholders of operations policy and procedures.
Writing
Write, edit, and distribute a variety of internal and external communications, newsletters, web content, and materials consistent with corporate messaging and brand standards as well as professional standards of grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Deliver results on time and within budget.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish, Linguistics, interpreting and Translation, Interpreting or similar field. | American Translators Association (ATA) Certification (preferred)
Experience
3-year experience as a Translator, Interpreter or equivalent role.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Fluent in English and Spanish
Computer literate and proficient with MS Office, Word, Excel, and Power Point
Experience with Airtable (preferred)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail for writing, review, revision, formatting and quality control
WORK CONDITIONS Work Environment
Environment - Work is primarily indoors; professional attire required
Postures – Frequent continuous period of time sitting or standing up to 6 hours per day
Physical Demands – Physical effort requiring manual dexterity is required, includes paperwork, calculators, computers and phone usage
Hours – May work beyond standard hours or schedule as business needs arise
