Overview
Senior Logistician (F3008 2025-24311):
Bowhead seeks a Senior Logistics Analyst to support the NAVAIR Crew Served Weapons In-Service Engineering activity in Crane, IN. The Senior Logistics Analyst will provide LMS support for PMA-242 acquisitions team in defining logistics requirements associated with the acquisition of new materiel.
Responsibilities Essential functions will include:
Coordinate efforts across acquisition and logistics teams in multiple locations (Crane, Pax River, Picatinny, China Lake, etc.)
Perform ILS management and technical services for the system, subsystems, equipment and components specified by the Government for each of the logistic elements.
Generate, implement, review, and maintain ILSPs in accordance with instructions and directives as referenced by the Government
Review and document Weapon System Acquisition Plans for complete ILS requirements by Life-Cycle Phase
Develop and maintain Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs) for all supported weapon systems and future fielding requirements
Other duties, as required
Qualifications Qualifications/Experience:
Bachelor's degree with eight (8) years of relevant experience is required. Additional work experience may be substituted for the formal education requirements for the highly qualified candidates
Experience NAVAIR acquisition and logistics requirements and processes, required
Prior experience supporting NSWC Crane is preferred
Experience supporting programs at multiple locations
Experience developing Independent Logistics Assessments (ILA)
Prior experience and knowledge of logistics procedures and processes is required
Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
