As a
Billing Specialist
at
CORA Physical Therapy , you would review, verify, and process paper and electronic claims to insurance companies. Our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, conveys a positive, professional attitude, and takes the initiative to get things done. This position will work with a high volume of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Language Therapy claims for the 10 states in which we provide therapy services. This work must be completed with a sense of urgency. Our ideal candidates understand 837 files, HCFA and UB04 forms, and have experience with clearing house procedures, including understanding front-end rejections and errors.

As a
Billing Specialist
at CORA, you’ll: Run and review an unbilled charge listing report for a specific clinic Make corrections as required and/or communicate with clinic personnel errors that need correction Process and create claims batch Print and verify claims batch (Paper Biller) Print claims review report and then verify claims batch (Electronic Biller) Mail or transmit claims to insurance companies What You’ll Need
1+ years of experience in Billing/Collections - Ideal candidates understand 837 files, HCFA and UB04 forms, and have experience with clearing house procedures, including understanding front-end rejections and errors Minimum of high school diploma Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite – Word and Excel is required Proficiency in data entry and management Strong time management and organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Good problem-solving skills with high attention to detail High level of personal integrity, reliability and honesty Ability to work effectively in teams and autonomously in a fast-paced environment
