Position Summary
The Global Treasury Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization’s global banking infrastructure, ensuring efficient cash management, and optimizing liquidity across all regions. This role will lead initiatives related to global bank account administration, cash pooling oversight, forecasting cash needs, and managing business insurance programs and annual renewals to support operational and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities Global Bank Account Management
Maintain and monitor all global bank accounts, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Negotiate banking terms and manage relationships with global banking partners.
Cash Pooling & Liquidity Oversight
Implement and manage global cash pooling structures to optimize liquidity and minimize idle cash.
Monitor intercompany funding and ensure efficient utilization of cash resources.
Cash Forecasting & Planning
Develop and maintain short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts across all regions.
Collaborate with FP&A and business units to anticipate cash needs and align with strategic plans.
Business Insurance Management
Oversee global business insurance programs, including property, liability, and specialty coverage.
Manage annual insurance renewals, ensuring competitive pricing and adequate coverage.
Liaise with brokers and insurers to negotiate terms and resolve claims.
Risk Management & Compliance
Ensure adherence to treasury policies and local regulatory requirements.
Timely execution and management of hedging strategies, if needed.
Process Improvement & Technology
Drive automation and process improvements in treasury operations.
Evaluate and implement treasury management systems and tools.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
5+ years of treasury or corporate finance experience in a global environment.
Strong knowledge of cash pooling, liquidity management, banking regulations, and insurance programs.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Performance Metrics & KPIs Liquidity Optimization
Maintain global cash pooling efficiency with less than X% idle cash.
Cash Forecast Accuracy
Achieve ≥95% accuracy in short-term cash flow forecasts.
Bank Account Management
Ensure 100% compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements for all accounts.
Insurance Program Management
Complete annual renewals on time with cost savings or coverage improvements compared to prior year.
Cost Efficiency
Reduce banking and insurance-related costs by X% year-over-year.
Process Improvement
Implement at least two automation or process improvement initiatives annually.
Risk Management
Maintain FX exposure within approved policy limits and ensure timely execution of hedging strategies.
