Primary Responsibilities
Supports shrinkage and safety awareness programs: helps store management communicate current shrinkage and safety topics.
Conducts surveillance: observes customer and contractor activities via CCTV/floor to detect theft, fraud, or suspicious activity; collects investigative intelligence and reports infractions to AP or store management.
Detains and interviews suspects in accordance with local laws and company policy; reports suspected fraud to AP management or Market Investigations.
Maintains records: creates and manages records using approved methods, ensuring proper evidence retention and disposition of recovered merchandise.
Participates in court hearings: attends hearings, updates files, and maintains relationships with local law enforcement.
Supports safety programs: identifies and addresses potential hazards, conducts incident investigations, and completes related reports.
Supports internal investigations: collects evidence under AP management direction and acts as an interview witness when needed.
Performs responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures to drive sales and profit.
