Leasing Consultant – Carriage House West
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Overview We are seeking an exceptional customer‑service focused Leasing Consultant for our Carriage House West apartment community!
Responsibilities
Answer telephone and e‑mail inquiries promptly, arranging appointments to show the community to prospective residents.
Greet prospective residents, tour the model/vacant units, demonstrate apartment features and amenities, explain occupancy terms, and provide local area information.
Close the sale with prospective residents, obtain holding deposits if applicable, and process applications for apartments or waiting lists.
Follow up with prospects who have not yet leased to advance the sales process and secure the lease.
Determine and certify eligibility of prospective residents, following government regulations and company procedures.
Process applications, prepare move‑in paperwork, and conduct move‑in with new residents.
Assist the Property Manager with advertising, promotions, and resident retention initiatives.
Conduct regular market surveys to monitor competitor activity and optimize competitiveness.
Make marketing recommendations based on survey analysis.
Complete and submit all reports in a timely manner to the appropriate person.
Conduct all activities in accordance with HUD regulations and Fair Housing requirements.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (combination of education, training, or experience).
Prior experience in a customer service environment.
Valid driver’s license in the state of residence.
Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in reading and comprehending the English language.
