Role Summary The Leasing Consultant is responsible for all aspects of leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations for the property.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Property leasing and administration
Regular onsite attendance is required
Show, lease, and move in prospective residents; greet, qualify, tour, and sign leases
Generate new leads, conduct tours, maintain model units, and perform necessary follow‑up
Complete all leasing paperwork before move‑in
Assist with lease audits, walking units, and turn process
Maintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data; respond to prospect leads within 24 hours
Utilize sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic, maintain closing ratios, and exceed leasing goals
Perform various administrative tasks as needed
Handle resident complaints, concerns, and requests to ensure satisfaction
Assist in developing and implementing resident retention programs (e.g., resident functions, special promotions, monthly newsletter)
Contribute to general upkeep and cleaning of office, common areas, and model units
Marketing & outreach: assist in implementing annual marketing outreach plans and market surveys
Maintain thorough product knowledge of the property, competition, and market conditions; produce weekly market survey reports
Customer & resident relations: manage excellent customer service, monitor service‑request turnaround, and ensure consistency in resident interactions
Enforce community policies as delegated by the supervisor
Education / Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Basic computer skills and ability to perform all on‑site software functions
Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
Physical Requirements
Move around to accomplish tasks, including repetitive wrist and hand motions
Ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, step stools, and remain stationary for prolonged periods
Move objects up to 25 lbs, operate machinery and power tools, drive vehicles or golf carts, and work in various environments, including outdoor conditions, confined spaces, and hazardous chemicals
Compensation and Benefits At Asset Living, compensation decisions consider skill set, background, training, and certifications. Salary Range $17 per hour to $19 per hour
