Our Global Biotech Client is seeking an experienced
Accounts Payable/Receivable I
professional to support a high-volume, time-sensitive finance project. This role is ideal for a detail-driven AP specialist who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
Base pay range
$25.00/hr - $30.00/hr

What You’ll Do
Process a high volume of invoices accurately and on time, adhering to policy.
Review invoices, POs, packing slips, and reports for completeness, coding, and approvals.
Perform and troubleshoot
3‑way match
in a manufacturing setting.
Resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal teams; elevate issues per protocol.
Prepare and execute weekly payment runs; reconcile vendor statements and resolve credits.
Serve as a primary contact for vendor inquiries with timely, professional responses.
Maintain precise AP records (physical and electronic) and support process improvements.
Mentor junior AP clerks as needed.
What You’ll Bring
5+ years
hands‑on AP experience with strong controls and compliance knowledge.
Advanced
Excel
skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and experience with
ERP
systems.
Precision, speed, and ownership handling high invoice volumes.
Clear, professional communication across all levels and with vendors.
Preferred
Life sciences/biotech and public company experience.
Exposure to
P2P implementations
(e.g.,
Coupa, Tipalti ).
Education Must be
local to Nashville or Johnson City, TN
to meet onsite/hybrid requirements.
