Electrical Foreman

Responsibilities
Installation & Maintenance: Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems in commercial buildings
Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents to map out system layouts and ensure compliance with project specifications
Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections and tests of electrical systems and components to ensure peak performance and adherence to safety standards
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical problems promptly to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation of systems
Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other trades to keep jobs on schedule and within budget, fostering a cooperative work environment
Safety Compliance: Maintain strict safety standards and comply with all regulations and site requirements, conducting safety audits and addressing potential hazards
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including daily logs, time sheets, and safety reports
Client Interaction: Serve as a point of contact for clients on job sites, ensuring clear communication and addressing any concerns or questions
Qualifications
Journeyman or Master Electrician certification
Experience with commercial build‑outs, renovations, and service contracts
Proficiency in using project management and scheduling software
Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems, including high‑voltage systems
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes and regulations
Experience with electrical testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and other trades
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
