Lee Company provides core construction services of HVAC, plumbing and electrical for large and small commercial projects throughout Tennessee, Alabama, and Kentucky.
Responsibilities
Collect information, record data and estimate the cost for all large construction sheet metal projects for which the company places bids.
Complete plan analysis, develop materials lists, perform bid take-offs, bid and interface with sales department.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum 2 years of experience with sheet metal/mechanical estimation.
In‑depth knowledge of construction and sheet metal/mechanical systems; field experience preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); ability to be trained on company-specific applications and software.
Auto Bid Sheet Metal (formerly QuickPen) experience a plus.
Skills and Abilities
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
Mathematical aptitude.
Ability to manage high stress of tight deadlines and forecast budget accurately.
Independent work and effective team member.
Multitasking capability.
