Job Overview We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated Leasing Consultant for our market‑rate apartment community of 319 units in Cary, North Carolina.
Schedule:
Monday‑Friday 9:00 am‑6:00 pm
Job Type:
Full‑Time
Responsibilities
Answer telephones and provide leasing information, schedule appointments for tours, take maintenance requests, and assist residents with needs.
Greet prospects, determine their needs, show model and vacant apartments, collect applications and holding deposits, explain and review applications, and prepare leases.
Prepare move‑in packets upon approval of the application.
Review and explain information to the resident (e.g., gate cards, gate codes, lease, community policies, and move‑in inventory).
Walk with a resident during move‑in to complete the inventory sheet and obtain signatures prior to key release.
Complete outreach marketing and weekly market survey as directed by the Property Manager.
Maintain consistent effort to increase resident retention, including assisting with and participating in resident events.
Assist in keeping the office neat and clean.
Follow up on work orders.
Requirements
High School Diploma and 1‑2 years of related experience and/or training in residential services, customer service, or sales, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous experience with marketing, sales, and customer service.
Experience with Bluemoon, Yieldstart (preferred) and Onsite or Yardi (CRM, Voyager, P2P) (required).
Proficiency in computer software including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Availability to cover the leasing office on weekend shifts as needed.
