Position Summary The Commercial Loan Specialist supports the Bank’s portfolio management and client service objectives by ensuring timely reconciliation of accounts, accurate reporting, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. This position plays a critical role in assisting the Community Banking Portfolio Manager with oversight of loan accounts and delivering high‑quality support and operational excellence to internal and external clients.

Responsibilities

Perform reconciliation of various loan and deposit accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with bank policies.

Communicate with third‑party vendors, financial institutions, and service providers regarding transaction inquiries and account discrepancies.

Assist the Community Banking Portfolio Manager with oversight of loan accounts, including monitoring balances, payments, and exceptions.

Create and maintain financial and operational reports as directed by Management.

Respond promptly and professionally to internal and external client requests, ensuring a high standard of service and satisfaction.

Qualifications

2+ years of banking, finance, or accounting experience

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment

Demonstrated professionalism and discretion with confidential information

Experience with loan servicing systems or portfolio management software strongly desired

Knowledge of banking operations and reconciliation procedures strongly desired

The approximate pay range for this position is $52,692 to $60,000, plus an opportunity to earn performance‑based incentives. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as geographic location. Note: Incentives and/or benefits packages may vary depending on the position.
