We are seeking a Paraplanner to join our team and support Waverly’s clients by assisting financial planners with research, data compilation, and preparation of client materials. This role is essential in ensuring accurate, timely, and thorough information is presented to clients. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, client-focused, and proactive in delivering exceptional service.
Paraplanner Responsibilities:
Client Meeting Preparation
Manage and update client information
Preparation of meeting agenda
Current position reports – print and verify accuracy
Prepare documents as needed
Client Meeting Follow-up
Preparation of post‑appointment follow‑up letter
Financial Plans and Projections
Prepare client forecasts and illustrations such as retirement & education projections, net worth statements, family trees, etc.
Client File Maintenance
Scanning – historical documents
Prepare electronic (and other) files for upcoming appointments
Update notes and client information after appointment
Client Incoming Calls and/or Correspondence
Return phone call to client during the same day
Update Client Notes
Assist with annual client reviews by gathering information, notes, preparing letters, and completing other tasks as needed
Various research tasks as requested by financial planners
Taxes:
Assist with gathering and scanning of tax documents as requested
Input of tax data in software for tax forecasting
Meetings:
Attend morning team meetings, weekly Investment Committee Meeting, Think Tanks, etc.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, or a related field.
Ability to work timely and promptly.
Professional with integrity to the company and clients.
Interest in financial planning, the ability to provide client forecasts, and illustrations.
Travel:
Little to no travel required.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times

Extra vacation day on your birthday week
Three weeks of PTO, increasing to four weeks after three years of service, and five weeks after eight years of service
Four weeks paid sabbatical program after seven consecutive years of service, maximum of two sabbaticals while employed
