G MASS Consulting are partnered with a leading Hedge Fund, who are designing and building an in‑house CFTC swap data reporting engine to replace their current vendor solution.
This role will provide hands‑on subject‑matter expertise and project oversight across CFTC Parts 43 and 45, ensuring the new framework meets all regulatory and operational control requirements.
Responsibilities:
Interpret and apply CFTC Part 43 and Part 45 obligations to the firm's data model and reporting design
Develop comprehensive functional and technical reporting specifications
Conduct gap analysis against the current vendor configuration and recommend enhancements
Lead design reviews and oversee deliverables in partnership with internal teams
Develop and execute UAT and validation testing for swap data reporting logic
Design post‑implementation control frameworks, including reconciliations and exception management
Support BAU alert resolution and maintain operational continuity during transition
Produce detailed documentation, training materials, and reporting run books
Requirements:
7+ years' experience in CFTC Part 43/45 swap data reporting
Deep knowledge of SDR reporting flows and lifecycle event handling (preferably DTCC DDR)
Hands‑on experience defining or re‑platforming regulatory reporting solutions
Strong understanding of data lineage, reconciliations, and control frameworks
Proven ability to lead small teams and collaborate with compliance, technology, and operations
Excellent documentation and stakeholder management skills
