Job Description The Leasing Professional reports to the Leasing Manager and serves as the primary contact for residents and prospective residents looking to renew or engage in a new lease. The role’s responsibilities include:
Warmly greeting visitors, prospective and current residents.
Providing prospective residents with brochures, information, and tours of facilities and available units.
Consulting with prospective residents to identify requirements and budgets, then matching these needs with available floor‑plan options. Conducting phone, online, and tour sales with prospective and current residents.
Conducting background/credit checks and verifying other references as directed by the Leasing Manager.
Preparing lease files for the Leasing Manager’s review and approval, and obtaining signatures from management and residents.
Coordinating move‑in dates, materials, and processes as directed.
Conducting lead management with residents and prospects following HRA standards.
Maintaining thorough knowledge of the market.
Participating in the daily operations of the property. Touring the property daily to ensure it is neat, tidy, attractive and in good repair. Managing use of shared facilities such as fitness and recreation areas, laundry facilities, and meeting or gathering spaces.
Assisting with record‑keeping, filing, bookkeeping, and paperwork as required.
Maintaining positive resident relations through superior service.
Assisting with turn walks prior to move‑ins, as well as any other turn‑related duties as directed.
Ensuring compliance with all state, federal, and local laws relating to Fair Housing.
Compensation We offer an excellent compensation packet including a competitive salary (DOE), bonus potential, comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, 401(k), paid time off, paid holidays, a flexible spending account, HSA, etc.
Hourly Wage: $15–$17 DOE, plus leasing and renewal commissions.
