ERMCO is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with 2–5 years of experience who is ready to take the next step in their accounting career. Responsibilities
Assist with month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and variance reporting
Maintain and update standard cost data; support annual cost roll processes
Analyze manufacturing cost variances and prepare reporting for leadership
Participate in physical inventory counts and reconcile inventory accounts
Maintain accurate fixed asset records and support depreciation tracking
Reconcile general ledger accounts, including inventory and other key balance sheet items
Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and internal reporting activities
Collaborate with procurement, finance, and operations teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
Participate in internal/external audits and help ensure adherence to internal controls and GAAP
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2–5 years of accounting experience (manufacturing or cost accounting preferred)
Strong Excel skills and comfort working with ERP/accounting systems
Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting fundamentals
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA licensure
Experience with Infor or similar ERP system
Prior involvement in inventory or fixed asset accounting
Exposure to operational or plant-level financial processes
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Occasional lifting of files or paperwork
Occasional travel to other ERMCO sites
