Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their team. Expected starting base salary of $90,000 to $120,000 per year. Job Responsibilities
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for multiple business entities. Prepare journal entries and assist with monthly and annual closing activities. Support audits, tax compliance projects, and inventory reviews. Prepare consolidated financial statements along with supporting schedules and disclosures. Manage special initiatives such as ERP upgrades and system implementations. Requirements
At least 7+ years of experience in cost and financial accounting within manufacturing or defense‑related industries. Strong knowledge of GAAP principles; familiarity with FAR regulations. Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms. Excellent organizational and communication skills for working across teams. Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. In-depth understanding of technical accounting standards, including revenue recognition and lease accounting. Ability to manage foreign currency transactions and intercompany reconciliations. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver accurate results under deadlines. Seniority level
