About this opportunity Perform accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other duties as directed by supervisor. Follow all Salvation Army accounting policies and procedures related to proper accounting and internal control. Assist with other duties as needed.

Qualifications What we are looking for in you:

Associate degree in accounting plus two years' experience in accounts payables and accounts receivables

OR

Five years' experience in accounts payables and accounts receivables and the ability to successfully complete an internal accounting test.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Proficient in using Microsoft Office software including Word and Excel. Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure. Ability to read, write and communicate the English language effectively. Ability to process large volume of data entry on a daily basis. Ability to manage user login credentials to various websites. Ability to perform light typing. Ability to communicate in a professional manner by telephone and through written correspondence.

Working Conditions Work is usually performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like. Work may require driving a vehicle where there may be discomforts associated with heavy traffic or changes in weather.
