Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a dedicated Payroll/HR Specialist to join their team in California. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in both payroll and human resources, offering a chance to work in a bilingual environment. The role is a temporary position with the possibility of turning into a temp-to-hire opportunity, and training on Paylocity will be provided.

Responsibilities

Managing payroll and human resources functions, ensuring a balanced focus on both areas.

Utilizing Paylocity software for payroll processing, with training provided if necessary.

Communicating effectively with employees and management, utilizing bilingual Spanish skills.

Ensuring compliance with all payroll and HR policies and procedures.

Supporting both HR and payroll-related inquiries from employees and management.

Maintaining accurate records and documentation for payroll and HR activities.

Assisting in the development and implementation of HR and payroll best practices.

Contributing to a positive and efficient workplace culture.

Requirements

Strong experience in both payroll and human resources functions.

Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required.

Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with a diverse team.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Required Work Hours Monday to Friday

Benefits The role offers an annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 (hourly $38 to $48).The position is onsite and provides a supportive work environment with opportunities for professional growth.

Additional Details The position is a temporary role lasting 5-6 months, with the potential for a interim-to-hire transition. The client will provide training on Paylocity, and the max pay for this position is $100,000, with a minimum pay of $80,000.
