Riverview Estates is seeking an organized, proactive
Scheduler / Staffing Coordinator
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining nursing schedules, ensuring all shifts are adequately staffed, and supporting our HR and nursing departments with scheduling coordination and communication. This position plays a key role in maintaining smooth operations within our nursing department and ensuring our residents receive consistent, high-quality care.
Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly nursing department schedules for CNAs, LPNs, and RNs.
Coordinate coverage for call-outs, vacations, and leaves to ensure all shifts are filled.
Communicate scheduling changes promptly to staff and department heads.
Collaborate with department supervisors to track attendance and staffing needs.
Maintain accurate employee records, schedules, and contact lists.
Assist HR with onboarding, orientation scheduling, and payroll coordination as needed.
Provide excellent customer service and clear communication to staff at all times.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Scheduler or Staffing Coordinator in a long‑term care or healthcare setting required.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
Proficiency with scheduling software and Microsoft Office.
Reliable, professional, and detail‑oriented.
