HR GENERALIST (11355) – Cullman Regional Medical Center
This experienced-level position plays a critical role in supporting our workforce lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to retention and engagement. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience as a seasoned HR professional, with strong HR technical knowledge, and the ability to build trusted partnerships across the organization. Prior HR support experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is highly desired.
Duties Include But Not Limited To
Lead full-cycle talent acquisition, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.
Assist with total compensation components including salary administration, benefits administration and communication, FMLA and leave programs management.
Employee relations, engagement, and retention.
Performance management and service award programs.
Serve as a resource for employees and managers on HR policies, performance, and employee relations.
Support HRIS data integrity, reporting, and system/process optimization. HRIS implementation experience is a strong plus.
Partner with leadership to promote a positive, engaged, and high-performing workplace culture.
Qualifications
BS degree in related field of study (HR Management, Organization Development, Organizational Leadership, Workforce Development, or Business Administration) required.
Professional HR Certification preferred (e.g. SHRM PHR, SPHR, CP, SCP; HRCI APHR, SPHR).
Must possess five (5) or more years of demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, compensation/benefits administration, and general HR best practices. Prior experience in a clinical, healthcare, or medical setting is a strong plus.
Strong HRIS proficiency; experience with system implementation is a significant advantage.
Must have prior experience with FMLA and other leave management principles.
Exceptional interpersonal/communication skills, professionalism, motivation, and commitment to outstanding internal customer service.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy, discretion, and sound judgment.
