Temporary Recruiter – First Mutual Holding Co. Position Summary This temporary role will serve as an important part of the HR Team, primarily focused on the full-cycle recruiting process. Works with hiring managers to post job openings, monitors applications, schedules/tracks interviews, hires new employees, and completes onboarding steps. Maintains effective and professional communication with candidates throughout the process. Works closely with other HR team members and other key stakeholders to ensure internal alignment and coordination with benefits, payroll, and policy administration.

Job Type Full‑time, Temporary – approximately 3‑4 months.

Duties & Responsibilities

Facilitate and implement all phases of the recruitment process, utilizing the HRIS system (Paylocity).

Collaborate with department managers to ensure accurate hiring criteria.

Handle employment‑related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors.

Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.

Assist with job posting and advertisement processes.

Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.

Oversee preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.

Collaborate with the hiring manager and/or other HR staff throughout the process: reviewing candidates, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.

Process and complete all recruiting steps with the HRIS system and ensure all documentation and records are properly maintained.

Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.

Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices and regulatory requirements in Human Resources, talent management, and employment law.

Comply with all applicable banking laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, and related anti‑money laundering statutes, and federal consumer protection legislation and regulations. Build working knowledge of all applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

3+ years HR or recruiting experience is required.

Previous experience with applicant tracking systems is required.

Experience with Paylocity strongly preferred.

Professional written and verbal communication is required.

Ability to prioritize and organize workload is required.

Familiarity with local, state and federal laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment is required.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and HR and recruiting related systems is required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift, walk, stand, sit, bend, reach with hands and arms, climb, push/pull, use hands, and see, hear, and speak.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.

This position is performed in an office setting 3 days a week and 2 days working from home, with typical work hours being 8:30 a.m. through 5:15 p.m.
