with experience in multi-family housing to join our ever-evolving team in our mission to provide unique, high-quality, sensible housing solutions to neighborhoods throughout the Greater Los Angeles Area. We are additionally looking for job captains and a senior project manager. We are an architectural studio specializing in multi-family and mixed-use housing with extensive experience in publicly funded housing in the City of Los Angeles. We are continuously expanding our expertise in commercial, civic, adaptive reuse, peer review services, interim housing and various types of recuperative care centers among others. We are a firm that works and grows collaboratively, where there is always the opportunity to take on moreresponsibility and learn through experience with the help of sound mentorship. We’re looking for candidates that are well rounded in design and technique and wish to continue to develop into a complete architect with exposure to all parts of the discipline. Located in the South Bay City of Torrance, California, our office is conveniently located between Los Angeles and Orange County just a couple miles from the beach. Who should apply:

Strong design abilities that meet the firm’s approach and mission in design Ability to create a program as well as translate it into a sensible concept design Responsible for the accuracy of design and documents Responsible to ensure all client expectations and code requirements Responsible for scheduling and staffing. Determining what is required for project delivery/ submittals and determining how to deliver them on time and exceeding expectations Primary decision maker in relation to the proper execution in the development of the design, carrying the intent through documentation considering constructability and detailing making sure the design in intent is maintained with rigor Responsible for ensuring documentation meets design intent, office standards, providing the ideal information to ensure proper execution by the GC Review & appropriately provide direction/ mark‑ups documents for team to address Direct meetings (consultant coordination) Produce meeting minutes or review meeting minutes that maintain the office’s standard of professionalism Responsible for consultant coordination Strong mentorship abilities to help develop designers Complete understanding of the agency approval process and ability to assist in the process when needed to resolve the most complicated situations. Strong portfolio reflecting vision and an eye for detail Strong graphic, organization, and communication skills Must display a high level of commitment and integrity with clients and co-workers Admirable construction detailing abilities Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within the project team Proficient in Revit, MS Excel, MS Word Experience working with different jurisdictional agencies, especially LA City Experience in implementing zoning, planning, and building codes and standards Familiarity with CTCAC, LACDA, LAHCID funding requirements and application processes desired Licensed Architect in California preferred but not required Job Title: Architect

A professional who oversees the development of a project through team collaboration from design through move‑in and project close with a commitment to established office standards and rigor. Individual will be heavily relied upon to ensure the quality, accuracy, and professionalism of the instruments of service and the facilitation of the final architectural product. Code knowledge is also crucial along with an ability to lead a team of architects and designers, communicate well, and have proficiency in a wide range of software. Partial remote work options may be considered. Responsibilities and Duties
