Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.**What You'll Be Doing*** Operate haul trucks safely and efficiently to transport aggregate materials within the site.* Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections and report any issues promptly.* Follow all site safety protocols and traffic rules to maintain a safe work environment.* Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.* Assist with basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment as needed.**What Are We Looking For*** Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively in a production environment.* Strong commitment to safety and adherence to company and regulatory standards.* Capability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.* Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment checks and minor troubleshooting.* Reliable attendance and willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime when required.**Conditions of Employment*** Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.* Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.**Work Environment*** Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.**What We Offer*** $21.00 to $24.50 per hour* 401(k) retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributions* Highly competitive benefits programs, including:
