Overview The Consumer Deposit Product Analyst provides analytics and insights on translating strategic objectives into actionable product initiatives for Consumer Deposit Products and services. The analyst supports the manager to ensure that deposit products reach profitability, priced appropriately, helps with product management lifecycle and strategic objectives.
Responsibilities Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
Product Development and Management: Support Deposit Product manager with the end-to-end lifecycle of Consumer Deposit products, market analysis, design, development, testing, pricing, fees, and ongoing enhancement
Ensure product offerings are competitive, compliant, aligned with our strategy and member needs. Work closely with Retail to integrate deposit product offering into our full product/services suite
Product Portfolio Monitoring: Monitor and report on product portfolio trends including P&L, Balances, Fee income, Productions, Attrition. Provide corrective action recommendations when performance is not in line with expectations
Market Research and Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, competitor offerings, and evolving third-party requirements. Use market signals and insights to identify opportunities for new product introductions or enhancements to existing products
Cross Functional Collaboration: Partner with Risk, Retail, Legal, Compliance & Deposit Operations to ensure processes, procedures, policies, and systems are functioning as designed and partner on projects for implementation.
Knowledge of fundamental regulations governing U.S. retail deposit accounts, payments, and digital banking services, including but not limited to Regulation DD, Truth in Savings, Regulation E, Regulation CC, Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Patriot Act and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). Apply this knowledge to ensure compliance, risk management, and proper regulatory reporting
Perform other related duties as requested and special projects as assigned
Requirements Bachelor’s degree (BA, BS, BBA, etc.) required or a minimum of five years directly related experience
Minimum of three years of product management, product development or product marketing experience required
Intermediate Banking knowledge of Deposit Products and services
Strong reporting, decision making, analytical and problem-solving skills. Highly flexible and able to quickly adapt to changing priorities.
Highly organized, self-motivated, member oriented and able to proactively work independently as well as within a team.
Ability to perform in a high-volume environment and meet deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
