Salary Range:

$93,000 - $140,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

Manage and ensure the high availability and performance of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and manufacturing-specific systems (MES, SCADA).

Oversee the security of all IT and OT systems, implementing robust cybersecurity measures to protect production environments and sensitive data.

Lead the planning, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing software solutions, such as ERP modules for production, quality, and supply chain.

Provide timely and effective technical support to all plant personnel, resolving hardware, software, and network issues to minimize operational disruptions.

Develop and execute IT strategies that align with manufacturing objectives, supporting initiatives like Industry 4.0 and digital transformation.

Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring optimal service delivery and cost-effectiveness for hardware, software, and support.

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies regarding data security, disaster recovery, and IT operational standards.

Recommended Qualifications

Deep understanding of IT infrastructure and operational technology (OT) systems (e.g., SCADA, MES, PLC networks) relevant to manufacturing environments.

Proven experience in managing IT teams, projects, and budgets within a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Strong grasp of cybersecurity best practices, particularly for industrial control systems (ICS) and OT environments.

Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) implementation, integration, and support specific to manufacturing operations.

Ability to strategically align IT initiatives with manufacturing business objectives and drive digital transformation efforts.

Excellent problem-solving skills and a track record of ensuring high availability and performance of critical manufacturing IT/OT systems.

Bonus Qualifications

Experience with IT/OT convergence and integration of operational technology (e.g., SCADA, PLCs) with enterprise systems.

Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts, IoT deployments, and advanced manufacturing technologies.

Understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles and how IT can support operational efficiency.

Direct experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or ERP modules specific to production.
