Responsibilities

Perform detailed product inspections on in-process and finished goods, including but not limited to First Article Inspections.

Document characteristics of products accurately and with technical detail.

Initiate quality notifications for any non‑conforming products.

Apply quality assurance procedures and requirements to the inspection of hardware and to document reviews.

Identify potential quality issues early and help prevent their occurrence.

Communicate effectively to other Collins Aerospace personnel any quality issues needing resolution.

Monitor the use of calibrated measuring instruments.

Qualifications You Must Have

High School Diploma or equivalent, or AA/AS degree or other 2‑year post‑high‑school training with 2 years of relevant experience.

In absence of a diploma or degree, must have 6 years of relevant manufacturing, assembly, and/or construction/facilities experience.

Must be a U.S. Person / Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder.

Preferred Qualifications

Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and percentages.

Experience performing detailed product inspections using blueprints and specifications.

Ability to utilize computer systems including input of data and retrieval of information for inspections and configuration purposes.

Ability to review documents and to identify and resolve any errors or missing information.

Prefer experience using SAP.

Prefer experience utilizing micrometers and calipers.

Must be able to use precision measuring tools.

Must have basic computer skills including the ability to use operating software.

Ability to pass color/vision test.
