Overview As a Big Data Engineer at Booz Allen, you will implement data engineering activities on mission‑driven projects. You’ll deploy and develop pipelines and platforms that organize disparate data, and you’ll manage the assessment, design, building, and maintenance of scalable platforms for our clients.
Responsibilities
Implement data engineering activities on mission‑driven projects.
Deploy and develop pipelines and platforms that organize and make disparate data meaningful.
Guide and collaborate with a multi‑disciplinary team of analysts, data engineers, developers, and data consumers in a fast‑paced, agile environment.
Use analytical exploration and data examination to support the design and construction of scalable data platforms.
Leverage skills in relational data analysis, visualization, and high‑performance computing to facilitate large‑scale analysis.
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in a data engineer or data architect role.
Experience in facilitating large‑scale analysis of relational data using advanced graphics, visualization techniques, and high‑performance computing.
Experience establishing operational, programming, and security standards.
Experience designing and constructing large relational databases.
Experience integrating new systems with data warehouse structure.
Top Secret clearance.
Bachelor’s degree.
Nice to Have
Experience with designing and implementing data pipeline automation processes.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Possession of excellent planning and organization skills.
Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Top Secret clearance is required.
Compensation & Benefits Projected compensation range: $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). Full‑time and part‑time employees working at least 20 hours a week are eligible to participate in Booz Allen's benefit programs, which include health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work‑life programs, and dependent care. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
