Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is seeking an Application Monitoring SME.
Application Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
Develop and maintain robust application monitoring systems
Troubleshoot production issues and drive root cause analysis
Continuously improve monitoring strategies to enhance system stability
CI/CD Integration:
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
Integrate monitoring tools into CI/CD workflows for proactive alerting and rapid issue resolution
Automation & Scripting:
Utilize PowerShell and Python to automate monitoring tasks, customize alerts, and enhance monitoring capabilities
Subject Matter Expertise
Serve as the go-to expert for monitoring best practices
Provide guidance and mentorship to teams on monitoring strategies and tools
Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless monitoring integration
Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to stakeholders
Requirements
Proven experience in application monitoring and troubleshooting production environments
Hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD setup and maintenance
Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Python for automation and alert customization
Deep understanding of monitoring tools, proactive alerting, and issue resolution techniques
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a passion for driving best practices
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud‑native monitoring solutions (Azure Monitor, App Insights, etc.)
Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of ITIL or similar frameworks for incident and problem management
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
