Auburn University Position Summary

This role plans, implements, and manages technology systems supporting Recreation and Wellness. The administrator ensures seamless integration of hardware, software, and A/V operations across facilities, programs, and services. Essential Functions

Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot complex facility operations systems, including hardware, operating systems, A/V setups, fitness equipment technologies, and departmental software platforms. Oversee integrations with platforms such as Innosoft Fusion and other recreation management systems. Provide individual and group instruction on the use of departmental technologies. Create and maintain standard operations procedures and training materials for staff. Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies to enhance departmental operations. Coordinate with vendors and internal partners for procurement, implementation, and lifecycle management of technology assets. Manage A/V needs for events and facilities, including setup and troubleshooting. Monitor and maintain inventory of computers, mobile devices, time clocks, turnstiles, scoreboards, and other technology assets. Participate in budget planning and monitor technology‑related expenditures. Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to align technology initiatives with departmental strategy. Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of experience in relevant technologies. Desired Qualifications

Master’s degree plus 3 years of experience in relevant technologies. Salary Range
