We are seeking a Systems Engineer with Android and beacon expertise. The ideal Systems Engineer will, in part, manage beacon and communications servers, applications, and equipment, ensuring maximum reliability of tracking solutions for training course attendees.

Required Skills:

Demonstrated experience administering communications solutions for Android devices and equipment

Demonstrated experience administering beaconing solutions

Demonstrated experience customizing, deploying and maintaining Android cellular telephones.

Demonstrated experience using ATAK (Android Team Awareness Kit) beaconing and tracking hardware, software, scripts, and code.

Demonstrated experience managing telephones, laptops, and tablet devices, all of which require configuration and maintenance while maximizing uptime and communications reliability.

Demonstrated experience configuring, setting up, monitoring, maintaining, troubleshooting and running firewalls, switches, routers, or other WAN and LAN systems or equipment.

Demonstrated experience using encryption hardware and software and virtual private network (VPN) applications.

Demonstrated experience handling sensitive data, exercising discretion and sound judgment, and achieving mission outcomes.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

Top Secret SCI + Polygraph Salary and Benefit Information The likely salary range for this position is $158,855 - $214,921. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
