HR GENERALIST Oak Plains Academy, located 45 minutes north of Nashville, Tennessee, is a 98‑bed residential treatment program for adolescents. The campus offers a full‑size gymnasium, dining hall, academic building, and dormitories on a 20‑acre rural setting.

We serve hundreds of children and adolescents annually, providing individualized psychiatric residential treatment to address emotional and behavioral issues and build resiliency.

Responsibilities

Full‑cycle recruiting, including sourcing candidates through various channels.

Employee engagement and coordination of new hire orientation and employment onboarding.

Records management and data integrity, tracking employee in‑services.

HealthStream training system administration – assigning annual training modules to existing and new hires.

Provide administrative support to executive committees and administrative meetings.

Prepare and maintain employee files, managing clearances/licensure renewal and employee trainings.

Lead special projects as assigned.

Work collaboratively in a team environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years of Human Resources Generalist experience.

Full‑cycle recruiter experience; onboarding new employees preferred; healthcare experience preferred.

Experience mediating employee concerns and exercising sound professional judgment in recommendations.

Knowledge of Joint Commission, federal, state, and local laws and regulations that govern healthcare preferred.

Excellent customer service skills, superb problem‑solving, multitasking, and effective verbal and written communication.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with frequent interruptions.

Excellent computer skills – proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Age 21 years or older with a valid driver’s license.

Flexible schedule.
