Outpatient Clinical Social Worker
Del Amo Behavioral Health System, a subsidiary of UHS, provides comprehensive treatment for children, adolescents, adults, seniors and the military. Our multidisciplinary team offers customized treatment programs and mental health evaluations through inpatient, outpatient and specialty programs, including services for military personnel and trauma patients.
Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a psychiatric hospital outpatient setting by performing psychosocial assessments, developing interdisciplinary treatment plans, facilitating group therapy sessions, and executing discharge as well as aftercare planning. Assist patients and families with psychotherapeutic skills to identify and resolve complex problems resulting from psychiatric illnesses while ensuring compliance with quality patient care and regulatory standards. Offer in‑person and/or virtual programming as needed. Position is located at the Carson Outpatient Facility, 16920 Avalon Blvd, Carson, CA 90746.

Qualifications
Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology or related field.
Licensure by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an LCSW, MFT or Registered Associate/Intern preferred; licensure or registration required.
