Senior Human Resources Specialist

Just Kids Autism Center is a growing autism and ABA services provider committed to delivering ethical, high‑quality care to children and families. We are seeking an HR Specialist to support our expanding team through effective hiring, onboarding, and HR operations.
Position Overview The HR Specialist is responsible for
full‑cycle recruitment
and providing ongoing HR and administrative support. This role supports payroll coordination, employee relations, and compliance, and assists with hiring‑related social media and employer branding efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full‑cycle recruitment from job posting through onboarding
Consistently recruit for clinical and administrative roles (RBTs, BCBAs, supervisors, office staff)
Post positions across multiple job platforms and manage applicant tracking systems
Screen resumes, conduct phone screens, and coordinate interviews
Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process
Prepare offer letters and onboarding documentation
HR Operations & Employee Support
Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation
Maintain accurate, confidential employee records and HR documentation
Track licenses, certifications, background checks, and compliance requirements
Assist with employee relations matters, performance documentation, and corrective action processes
Support implementation of HR policies and procedures
Payroll Coordination
Collect and verify employee timekeeping and attendance data
Coordinate payroll submissions with payroll providers or internal departments
Assist employees with basic payroll questions and issue resolution
Maintain payroll‑related documentation and records
Hiring‑Related Social Media & Employer Branding
Post job openings and hiring‑related content on approved social media platforms
Support employer branding initiatives related to recruitment and culture
Coordinate with leadership on hiring announcements and recruitment campaigns
Compliance & Administration
Ensure HR practices comply with employment laws, healthcare regulations, and company policies
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and business information
Assist with HR reporting, audits, and special projects as needed
Qualifications
Prior HR experience with full‑cycle recruitment required
Experience in an autism center, ABA clinic, or healthcare setting preferred
Knowledge of basic payroll processes and HR compliance
Strong organizational, communication, and time‑management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
