HR Generalist – Employee Relations Focus (Full-Time)

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist with a strong employee relations background to support a growing organization. This role is ideal for an HR professional who is hands‑on, people‑centered, and confident navigating workplace concerns while partnering closely with leadership. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a positive, compliant, and respectful work environment while serving as a trusted HR resource for employees and managers. Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations (Primary Focus)
Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations matters Conduct workplace investigations, document findings, and recommend resolutions Coach managers on performance management, corrective action, and conflict resolution Support employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture initiatives Ensure consistent application of policies and fair employment practices HR Generalist Responsibilities
Support onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation Assist with policy development, updates, and communication Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, TWC, etc.) Partner with leadership on training, performance reviews, and development initiatives Assist with benefits administration and employee inquiries Qualifications
3+ years of HR Generalist experience with significant employee relations exposure Strong knowledge of Texas employment laws and HR best practices Proven experience handling investigations and sensitive employee issues Confident communicator with excellent documentation skills Ability to balance empathy with policy and compliance HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred but not required Benefits
