We are seeking an experienced, detail‑oriented Systems Administrator to support the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) Tools Team within the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL). The role involves administering Siemens Teamcenter PLM environments, integrating CAD and other enterprise tools, and ensuring system reliability and security. Responsibilities

Administer, configure, and maintain Siemens Teamcenter PLM environments, including installation, patching, upgrades, documentation, and desktop deployment Assist with integration of Teamcenter with CAD tools and other enterprise applications Develop deployment plans, schedules, and system requirements Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues and respond to outages Monitor system performance, run tests, and perform routine troubleshooting to maintain reliability Facilitate and participate in application testing, rollout activities, and user training sessions Monitor backups and review emergency response plans Evaluate and recommend system improvements or solutions Create and maintain system documentation of processes, procedures, and configurations Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance system functionality and user experience Maintain required compliance training related to business systems, safety, and security May supervise a growing staff, including hiring, development, and performance management Required Skills & Experience

Windows Server, Red Hat Linux, and SELinux system administration Programming skills in multiple languages VMWare and virtual machine management Oracle databases and application servers (e.g., Apache Tomcat) Strong analytical skills for diagnosing and resolving technical issues Experience following established protocols and security procedures Effective communication and organizational skills in collaborative environments Preferred Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Sciences, or Mechanical Engineering) Experience with Siemens Teamcenter or similar PLM in a production environment, including workflow development, patching, and upgrades Enterprise software integration and support (COTS tools) Proficiency with Microsoft Office Product Suite – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio Current eligibility for access to classified information at the Secret level or higher, with the possibility of a government background investigation if required Minimum Education, Experience & Certifications

Systems Administrator – Senior Professional:

Bachelor’s Degree + 6+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent education/experience). No required certifications. Systems Administrator – Advanced Professional:

Bachelor’s Degree + 3+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent education/experience). No required certifications. Security & Background Checks

The salary range for this position is $76,700.00 – $129,500.00, subject to geographic differential.
