Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Litigation Paralegal with 8+ years of substantive litigation experience to join our team, focusing on plaintiff first-party property or personal injury matters within the State of Florida. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional who can take ownership of case management, anticipate attorney needs, and independently handle advanced litigation responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of civil litigation paralegal experience
Expert knowledge with the Florida Courts e-Filing Portal and judicial scheduling systems
Strong Command of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure
Proven ability to draft, format, and file complex litigation documents with minimal supervision
Exceptional organizational, analytical, and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage a busy docket and work efficiently under pressure
Professional demeanor with a strong client-service orientation
Key Responsibilities
Draft, format, and file motions, pleadings, and discovery responses
Calendar and track all deadlines, hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials
Review trial orders and ensure compliance with all requirements and timelines
Coordinate hearings and utilize judicial calendars
Maintain organized case files and monitor case progression
Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates and responding to inquiries
Assist with trial preparation as needed
Handle e-filing through the Florida Courts E-Filing Portal
Assist attorneys with additional litigation support tasks as assigned
