Associate Attorney Job Description
Base pay range: $50,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr
This firm's clients are large financial, retail, and servicing corporations. Those companies engage the law firm to collect on their delinquent accounts. Many of these clients place a very high volume of accounts. The firm has a sophisticated system that streamlines the multiple and diverse steps in the collection and litigation processes. The Attorney helps manage the legal accounts and processes. The responsibilities include managing a volume of cases, attending dockets, hearings and trials as needed, assuring each client's guidelines are met, monitoring and managing regulatory compliance requirements. There is frequent interaction with consumers, other internal units, clients and executive management. It is a fast‑paced role that involves a lot of communication with colleagues to solve problems and review progress. Required skills include research, analysis, problem solving, organization, priority management, and written and verbal communication.
Qualifications and Skills
MS Office or equivalent.
Experience in litigation, collections, recoveries, banking, business, insurance or the legal industry is a
plus
not required.
Education and Experience Requirements
Juris Doctorate
Licensed to practice law in the state.
