Job Details We are looking for a dynamic, experienced, and highly motivated Permanent Coverage & Casualty Attorney to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about the legal industry and ready to take on challenging cases involving insurance coverage, bad faith, toxic tort, and professional liability. The successful candidate will have a proven track record handling complex legal matters, including mass torts, class action, catastrophic injury, and product liability. They will also have extensive experience conducting depositions and dealing with first‑party property issues.
Responsibilities
Providing legal advice on insurance coverage and casualty matters, including interpretation and application of insurance policies.
Handling cases related to bad faith, toxic tort, class action, mass torts, depositions, product liability, first‑party property, catastrophic injury, and professional liability.
Representing clients in court or before government agencies.
Conducting legal research and gathering evidence.
Preparing and drafting legal documents, such as pleadings, discovery requests, responses, motions, and briefs.
Negotiating settlements and managing all phases of litigation.
Participating in trials and hearings, presenting arguments, and examining and cross‑examining witnesses.
Keeping up‑to‑date with the latest legal developments and advising clients accordingly.
Qualifications
A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the state bar.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing attorney, with a focus on insurance coverage, bad faith, toxic tort, class action, mass torts, depositions, product liability, first‑party property, catastrophic injury, and professional liability.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Ability to handle a high volume of cases and work under pressure.
Proficient in legal research and writing.
Proven track record of achieving positive results for clients.
Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and confidentiality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
