You will lead the maintenance strategy for a high-velocity 3PL environment, overseeing complex Material Handling Equipment (MHE), automation systems, and vendor partnerships for multiple sites.. You aren't just maintaining buildings; you are optimizing a profit center by ensuring 99.9% operational readiness.**## **Key Responsibilities*** **Asset Management: Develop and execute a multi-million dollar Lifecycle Asset Management plan for MHE, HVAC, and power infrastructure.*** **Automation Oversight: Manage the preventative maintenance (PM) schedules for automated sortation systems, conveyor systems, powered industrial equipment, robotics.*** **Strategic Sourcing: Negotiate and manage third party vendor service contracts (MHE,MEP, Janitorial, Waste to ensure maximum ROI and service levels.*** **Regulatory Leadership: Partner with site operations and safety leaders to; ensure total compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and local environmental regulations.*** **CAPEX Project Management: Act as the primary stakeholder for site infrastructure modifications, improvements and expansions.*** **Financial Accountability: Full P&L responsibility for the facilities budget, including forecasting, variance reporting, and cost-reduction initiatives.**## **Qualifications*** **Experience: 5+ years in a large-scale distribution center (500k+ sq. ft.) or 3PL hub.*** **Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or Business (equivalent experience considered).*** **Technical: Expertise in CMMS (UpKeep, Maximo, or similar) and AutoCAD.*** **Certifications: CFM (Certified Facility Manager) or FMP (Facility Management Professional) strongly preferred.*** **Specific Hub Knowledge: Deep understanding of regional challenges (e.g., extreme heat mitigation in LAS/DFW or humidity control in ATL).**
