Responsibilities
Performs packaging line and manufacturing inspections, and sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials.
Ensures raw materials, in-process and finished products meet company standards; once analyzed, may apply approval or rejection labels to materials.
Responsible for the inspection of materials, parts, and tools as they are received from vendors and subcontractors.
Ensures that all products received meet established quality standards and requirements.
Maintains records of inspection progress and problems.
Implements and may recommend corrective measures.
Competencies
Acquires and applies job skills, company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
Assignments are routine to semi‑routine in nature; works under supervision and receives detailed instructions on work assignments.
Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the quality system and achieving quality objectives through daily actions.
Skills
High school diploma or equivalency
1+ year related experience
Specialized or advanced training in science, electronics or related field
Detail oriented
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
Basic computer skills with competency using standard software packages (Word, Excel, Google Sheets)
Thorough understanding of appropriate safety procedures
Preferred Requirements
Associate's degree in related field preferred
