Responsibilities

Provide courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service consistent with the hotel’s policies in order to maximize guest satisfaction.

Be entirely flexible and able to be rotated within the different subdepartments of the Rooms division, or any other departments as assigned and as necessary.

Ensure that guests are offered the highest level of personalized service at all times; report complaints or problems to supervisors if no immediate solution can be found, and assure follow-up with guests.

Be aware of all hotel services, facilities, and promotions, and knowledgeable of upselling techniques. Balance the cash report and remittance envelope at the end of the shift, perform opening and closing procedures, and ensure the Assistant Manager – Front Office signs all rebates and paid‑out vouchers with a clear explanation.

Check and update the allocation of rooms for all guests and follow up on special requirements requested by the guests.

Maintain regular contact with long‑stay and suite guests to ensure their stays are an enjoyable one.

Maintain a high standard of grooming and hygiene at all times, maintain a good rapport and working relationship with colleagues and all other departments.

Provide full support to Supervisors and the team, and perform any reasonable duties and responsibilities that may be assigned.
